What Are Sins?

Is there a specific way to repent and confess sins? Or just say Lord forgive me of sins I committed that I know of and that I don't know of, or is it more specific???

 

First of all the church has no idea of how many sins they are committing, they have their short list, but God has a big list. You have to confess the sins that you know that are sin in your life one by one and be specific. Then seek God to reveal the other sins in your life.

 

The bible talks about three things we are to repent or ask Jesus for forgiveness.

 

• Sin – is a disease we are born with. It came when Adam & Eve rebelled against God.

·        Sins – acts committed by our sinful nature we were born with as human beings.

• Transgression – is rebellion against God’s Authority. Aligned yourself with Satan’s will.
• Iniquity – is deviating from what is known to be right. Can also be translated as lawlessness.

 

I forget the meaning of these words many times, and I have to look at this list to remind me what these words mean. Now if you tell a sinner that he has to confess all these things He will have no idea of what you are talking about. Many use the King James language of words that they remember in some track of the four spiritual laws on witnessing, but the sinner hasn’t a clue what you are speaking about. You may as well speak Greek to the sinner, because you will never lead him to Jesus unless you learn to speak in the common language of the people.

 

There are sins of disobedience that the Church is walking in.

 

Here are some of the sins that Church today have committed.

 

Jesus said to Hollie Moody during a visitation:

 

• My people have been as the church of Ephesus. They have left their first love of Me.
• My people have been as the church of Pergamos. They have fornicated themselves with false doctrine.
• My people have been as the church of Thyatira. They have allowed false prophets to speak My words unto them.
• My people have been as the church of Sardis. They are spiritually dead, and dying.
• My people have been as the church of Laodicea.  They are complacent.

 

“Those of My children who are My children indeed, shall be as the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. They will suffer persecution and trials, even unto death, while I am purging and refining My rebellious children.”

 

There are sins of omission, sins that you don’t remember you have to ask God to search your heart and show you what sins you haven’t repented of.

 

Then there are sins of murmuring and complaining that will remove the blood covering of Jesus from your life.

 

There are sins of rebellion, many have been deceived by Satan and have no idea of their rebellion to God’s revealed will to them personally, because they have more time for the television than to learn from the Holy Spirit. And then there are sins that God reveals in His word on how to walk with him, and things that you are to do personally in your life. The list is too long, if you never read the New Testament.

 

There are sins of not judging yourself.

 

There are sins of idols in their hearts and idols in their homes.

 

There are sins of defilement that are spirit, body and mind that they commit.

 

There are sins of not helping the widows and orphans that is true religion in God’s sight.

 

There are the sins of greed, of doctrines of demons wanting to get physically rich, such as giving to God to get money back from him which is greed. This is the sin of idol worship.

 

The doctrines of demons of ‘seed faith’ giving to get from God.

 

There are the sins of false doctrine

 

Sins of giving money to ministries that are not right with God.

 

Sins of not teaching your children the word of God and letting some Sunday School do it for you.

 

Sins of watching television, and being taught by the world system, which is of Satan.

 

Sins of 1Corinthisans 10, which removes the blood covering of Jesus in your life.

 

Sins of unforgiveness and bitterness in your heart! Who is it that you hate, or don’t like, then there is no forgiveness in you heart. If you don’t forgive, then God will not forgive you and you will go to hell when you die for not confessing your sins.

 

Sins of not praying for your enemies.

 

Sins of not spending daily time with the Holy Spirit to learn.

 

Sins of not praying a true daily prayer life.

 

Sins of wanting the things of the world system

 

Sins of spending your time with the unsaved, when you are not to be equally yoked with them.

 

The list is endless, you have to know these things and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the other sins in your life.

Had all the money that has been put into bricks and mortar been put into the printed page, this Gospel (Good News) could have already gone to the world.”

 

“The modern ministers today are sometimes “softies” and “sissies” – they are not tough soldiers. They don’t do any fighting or interceding.”

 

“They spend their time hunting, fishing, paying golf, or watching television. They can name all the latest movie stars, but can’t name the twelve apostles. They know all the football stars by name, but can’t tell you the Ten Commandments. They know the latest love songs, but can’t recite the Lord’s Prayer.”

 

 

Many Christians have their list of what sins are, but there is more than they realize, disobeying God is a great sin. Having Church service without the Holy Spirit is a great sin. There are many Churches that worship and meet each week, that are not under the control of the Holy Spirit.

 

Here is the sin that will take almost all Christians on Planet Earth To Hell.

 

Revelations 21:8 NIKJV But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

 

“I can honestly say, I have never met a Christian in my 35 years of this walk that doesn’t lie. In fact, of all the Christians and Churches I have been in all over America, they all lie. Lying is so engrained into Christians, because they have never gotten delivered from the lying devils that live inside of their minds. God is not mocked, he said all liars will go to the Lake of Fire, and there will be no excuses.”
